Meet Gabriel, our very handsome and confident orange tabby boy (10 months) and Skye, our sweet Torbie girl (6 months) with her funny little face. 

After the recent terrible flooding, we did not see Skye for a week and feared she had been swept away before we could trap her as we had her sisters. We worried that if she had survived, she was out there on her own, alone and frightened. 

Then, one day, from another part of the park, Gabriel came out of the brambles leading Skye to the food a kindhearted lady leaves for them every day. He, too, was a new resident at the park, but he immediately became our hero for taking her under his angel wings. 

He continued his angel role when we first trapped them, and they had to learn to trust us. He was very quick to trust but always ran back to comfort her when she called out. By patience and example, Gabriel not only led her out of the wilderness, but also into a loving, trusting relationship with their foster family. 

Today, they are both very social and affectionate with their foster family, including other adult cats and a smell dog, and love to romp together, rally the older cats into playing chase, and then curling up on our laps when nap time. It warms our hearts to see these two special cats trotting around with their happy cat tails - straight up with a curl at the tip. 

Skye is a purr baby who loves making biscuits on your lap, and Gabriel is the first cat to come to greet you with ankle rubs and smiling amber eyes.
