Fred is enjoying his new home and has settled in nicely. Here he is guarding his box and surveying th kingdom. :-)

Flower

We are loving having Flower (but we renamed her to Clover, because we feel so lucky to have her.) She has adjusted really well, and I think is feeling really comfortable and a sense of belonging and has become affectionate with us. She has 'adopted' the place under the Christmas tree for her evening naps (not sure how she will react when the tree goes down!). We have met many dogs in the park during the walks and she is always so exciting for a chance to play a bit. We've been invited to a neighborhood play group so will be doing that also soon. She is so well behaved and smart, never begs for food, and respects the rules like 'don't go on the stairway' which we told her 'No' on the first day, and she learned the off limit area in the house right away! But of course she is still a puppy and likes to steal socks from my laundry when I am folding and so I have to go chasing after her :). She is definitely a girl who talks when she needs something. Sometimes she will bark at us, but always it is for a reason, like needing to go outside (no accidents whatsoever), hungry, etc. Also, she is very predictable. In the morning she is very playful, but in the evening after dinner she is a lazy puppy who only wants to curl up in a ball and rest near us. She is learning Stay, and to Wait before crossing the street. We love her! Thank you so much for joining us together. Regards, LVP
