Mewl loves to be the star of the show! This little dude is a scene stealer and will do anything for love and attention. He is very intelligent and learns quickly, but also needs to be kept very busy so he stays out of trouble. In his foster home he's learned a lot of tricks like high five, sit, beg, going through a tunnel and hopping through a hoop. He loves treat puzzle toys and play time with kitty wands and has a ton of energy. Once he settles down and burns off some energy he is extremely affectionate and snuggly.

 

Mewl is bonded to his best friend and leading lady, Samhain. Mewl and Samhain must go to a home together. They both get along well with small gentle dogs and some other cats. Senior cats and those that are easily stressed would not be a good match with Mewl. He loves to play really rough and can be very bossy. They are not a good fit with children under the age of 10. His ideal person/people will have a lot of time to devote to him daily for play time, enrichment and snuggles. 

 

He will require an indoor only home, ideally with a secure catio. Mewl is very good about not scratching on things he shouldn't as long as he is provided with sufficient things to scratch on like cardboard scratchers, cat trees etc. Absolutely NO declawing . He almost exclusively drinks from a filtered cat water fountain (one will be provided for him upon adoption). Mewl is great about using the litter box and currently uses Oko Cat litter. 

 

Purrsonality : Energetic, playful, curious, cuddly, intelligent, mischievous

All available animals are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and treated for fleas, worms, and ear mites. All cats/kittens are tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Some cats have been vaccinated for rabies. Adoption fees are cash or check only.
