About Long John Silver - SA

  • Current Age: 3 Years 9 Months (best estimate)
  • Housetrained: Yes

Long John Silver (Silver) was born with an underdeveloped rear leg, but it doesn't slow him down at all! He can easily get into and out of the litter box and up on the counter. He is a confident, good-natured cat who loves to be picked up. He has some experience with a toddler and does well when she is calm.

Long John Silver and his brother Tuna are both social boys. Tuna cries if he’s separated from Silver, and they both play beautifully with family cats Izzy and Orla. I’m sure they’d be thrilled to go together or to a home with a friendly cat!

Silver is part of a litter surrendered to FFLAR when their Community Cat mother was finally trapped and spayed. He is now neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, has been tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, and has been treated for fleas, ear mites, and worms.  His adoption fee is $130, cash or check only.

For more information about Silver or to adopt, please contact Karen at karen.sorsdal@comcast.net or 360-333-7041 and tell her you are interested in Sarah's kitten Silver.
